Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

Alhamdulillah, the government of Ontario has allowed the reopening of the places of worship effective on Friday June 12^th,2020. Therefore, by the Will of Allah Swt, we are going to open the Centre on Friday, for daily and Friday prayers under the following conditions which are based on the guidelines of the government:

Every person who is coming for prayers must bring their own prayer mat, must be wearing a mask, and having had performing their wudhu at home. The washrooms and wudhu area will be closed.

Since places of worship are only allowed to admit 30% of their normal capacity, and in order to accommodate more brothers, we have scheduled 3 Friday prayers at the following times; 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm.

Everybody is required to pray their Sunnah prayers at home and leave immediately after the Friday Prayers.

Because Friday prayer is not mandatory for sisters, for the time being, we can only accommodate the brothers. We request that children under age 13 do not attend Friday prayers.

running. As you all know, the month of Ramadhan was the one month that people
would generously donate to keep the masjid running.

This year, unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we did not have any opportunities to
raise funds in order to continue operation. This is a very crucial time that we need

The estimated amount per person for Zakat al Fitr is $10/per person. This Zakat is due before Eid Fitr prayer. The sooner you pay, the more time we have to deliver to the needy.

The Ontario Government ordered all non-essential work places and worship places to close for the next two weeks. The mosque is now closed for all prayers for the next two weeks.

Due to the advice and recommendations of the Health Authorities and the Government of Ontario, with heavy hearts we are announcing the cancellation of Friday Prayers effective immediately until further notice.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We’re asking that you bring your prayer rug “masala” with you to the mosque and do wash at home. The washrooms at the mosque are temporarily closed.

Come celebrate Eid Adha on Sunday, August 11 at 9:00 am. We’ll have only 1 session for the prayer. We are also having a potluck iftar on the day of Arafat at Saturday, August 10. Feel free to join and bring your family.

We’re happy to celebrate Eid Fitr this year on Tuesday, June 4. Prayer will start 7:00 am. Please come early to join us with our Takbeer before prayer. Also try to come early as there may be limited parking spots because of some construction in the area. You may have to park in a distant spot.

We’re starting tahajod prayers on Sunday 2:00 am. The prayers will continue daily to end of Ramadan enshaala.

Congratulations to Mariam for memorizing Surah Yaseen. We are all so proud of you, masha’Allah! We hope you had fun at your celebration party. 🙂
